Description
Lakka Harbour on Paxos, Greece, lies at the NE tip and forms a large natural inlet protected from all winds except NE. The small town of Lakka and its quay sit on the SE side. It is very popular with yachts and busy in peak season. Mooring options include anchoring to the town quay, free anchoring in the bay if room permits, or anchoring with a long line ashore on the north side. Shelter is good in most conditions, but strong north winds bring swell, and NE winds blow directly into the inlet.
