Description

KWV De Kaag operates three marinas in Warmond with a combined capacity of 450 berths, complemented by numerous shore berths and dinghy jetty storage options. The association's centerpiece is the Kaagsocieteit, a historic association building positioned along the Kagerplassen that serves as the headquarters for the nationally recognized Kaagweek sailing event. The harbor office and secretariat are located in Harbor West at Kaagstraat 1 in Warmond. Members have access to various training boats and can rent sailing boats for personal use. The association maintains boats specifically for training supervision and competition support. Visiting sailors are welcome at De Kaagsocieteit location, where payment provides access codes for WIFI, plumbing facilities, and comprehensive visitor information. For berth availability at Ports East and West, contact the secretariat at 071-3010035. The harbor office operates Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM and 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, with Saturday hours from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Outside these hours, availability information is posted at the harbor office entrance and available on the website. Visiting boats can moor at the reporting jetty on the West side harbor along the Leede. From there, walk to the harbor office to check the display showing available overnight berths. Visitors should verify that chosen berths are actually vacant, as boxes may already be occupied by other passing sailors.
