Town Pier

Description

Krijal is a town pier in Premuda, Croatia, positioned at coordinates 44.33668700°N, 14.59362000°E. The largest port of island Premuda, located on the northwest side. All moorings in port intended for local population use. Docking possible on inner side of ferry dock. Protection and Features: Protected from west winds by ridge Mesarine. Some current in channel between ridge and island. Nearby anchorage with more than 50 mooring buoys. Port Krijal is actually a passage between outer side of Premuda (the most distant island with routes from Zadar) and smaller ridges - Hrip, Masarin, Plitka sika, Bračić and Mala sika. These ridges parallel to coast create protected lagoon, maximum depth 5m, with sandy bottom displaying all possible shades of blue that made Adriatic famous worldwide. Nearby services: Market, restaurant. Small market, restaurant and bar in port. Tip: Moorings reserved for locals - use ferry dock inner side for temporary docking or nearby anchorage with 50+ buoys. This is closer to open sea than any other Adriatic anchorage. The protected lagoon (5m depth, stunning blue sandy bottom) offers world-class scenery. Watch for current in channel between ridge and island.
