Anchorage
Description
Koufonisia anchorage, Pano Koufonisi, Aegean, Greece is next to a busy port with big ferries and daily cruises creating large waves, especially around sunsets. It is not a peaceful anchorage. The sand bottom holds well. Anchor on the buoy side of fishermen to the east and not in front of the port to the southeast, which is the ferries' maneuvering area.
