Description
Komiža is a town pier in Komiža, Vis, Croatia, positioned at coordinates 43.04420400°N, 16.08753600°E, operating on VHF channel 9. The breakwater quay at the south end of the bay offers mooring for 20-30 yachts with depths of 2.0-5.0m. Mooring Details: Laid moorings along the quay for stern-to or bows-to berthing. Capacity: approximately 20-30 yachts. Depths: 2.0-5.0m. Water and electricity points along the quay. VHF channel 9. Contact: +385 217 130 85, +385 217 132 15. Public toilet near breakwater. Shelter & Services: Good shelter from NW through to SE winds. Poor shelter in W and SW winds. Comprehensive services nearby: ATM, car rental, diving center, electricity, laundry, market, medical aid, restaurant, service station, shower, water, weather info, WiFi. Tip: Moorings fill up mid to late afternoon during season. Early arrival strongly recommended, especially late July and August. Avoid this anchorage in strong W or SW winds and seek alternative shelter.
