KNZ&RV Muiden (Muiden) Gooise Meren - Netherlands Marina in Muiden, Noord-Holland

KNZ&RV Muiden Marina is home to the Koninklijke Nederlandsche Zeil- & Roeivereeniging, the oldest water sports association in the Netherlands, founded in 1847. Located in Muiden with an additional location in Enkhuizen, this historic yacht club combines rich maritime traditions with modern marina facilities for visiting sailors. The harbor master's office is positioned on the north side of the club building, where harbor masters Paul Pels and IJsbrand Nieuwhof coordinate berth assignments and assist guests. Berths are allocated in consultation with the harbor master and are available until noon on the day of departure. In keeping with maritime traditions, guests are requested to lower their national flags before sunset. The marina's sanitary facilities are located on the ground floor of the clubhouse, with showers and toilets accessible from 07:00 to 22:30 daily. For convenience outside these hours, a night toilet on the south side of the club building remains open 24 hours a day. All mooring fees include access to sanitary facilities, electricity connections up to 16 amps or 1300 watts, fresh water supply, and WiFi internet access throughout the marina. A laundry room is available on the west side of the clubhouse for guest use. Free bicycles with gears are provided to help visitors reach Muiden's town center quickly and conveniently. Due to high demand, bicycle loans are limited to a maximum of 2.5 hours per use. The marina is equipped with a pump station for waste water and oil-containing waste water disposal, which should be used only after reporting to the harbor master. Waste containers for household refuse are distributed throughout the port area for easy access. Glass and paper recycling containers are located on the west side of the club building. The marina does not have facilities for small chemical waste disposal. Diesel fuel is not available at KNZ&RV Muiden but can be obtained at Stichting Jachthaven Muiden, located on the opposite side of the Vecht river. The Koninklijke Nederlandsche Zeil- & Roeivereeniging maintains its status as a living association with active membership and ongoing maritime traditions dating back over 175 years.
