Kalikatsou in Patmos, South Aegean, Greece, has safe anchorages with a big chain on a huge concrete block and costs 10 € per night (2021). The main village is connected by bus about every two hours for 1.80 € (2021) per ticket. You can anchor outside the buoy area but there is little room as the bottom drops beyond 20 m; the 10 m line is about 50 m outside the buoys. Pay attention to swimming buoys in front of the beach. There is a small quay to disembark and a small tavern next to it. The bay offers practically 360° protection except perhaps a somewhat strong SE, but rare. Buoys cost 10 € (2021).
