Description

Vissershang marina in Hank is strategically positioned on the edge of De Biesbosch National Park, offering approximately 450 permanent berths for boat owners. The marina serves as an ideal starting point for exploring the natural beauty of De Biesbosch, whether you choose to navigate with your own vessel or opt for rental options including sloops, motorboats, canoes, or join a whisper boat tour. The village of Hank is conveniently located approximately 3 kilometers from the marina, and bicycles are available for guests to reach local amenities including a supermarket, bakery, butcher, and drugstore. All visitors and passers-by must register at the Harbor Office located at the front of the harbour, where a dedicated reporting dock is available. Boats visiting the Vissershang restaurant can moor directly in front after completing registration, then relocate to the transverse jetty situated between jetties 2 and 3. During busy periods, alternative mooring locations are available against the mainland between jetties 5 and 6, or between jetties 6 and 7. Accommodation fees apply from 21:00 onwards for both passers-by jetties and restaurant visitors. The overnight fee structure for passers-by is €1.50 per linear metre of boat length. Facility charges are set at €1.50 per boat per overnight stay, plus an additional €1.25 water tourist tax per person. Advance reservations are not available for passers-by. When the harbor office is unoccupied, visiting boaters can independently select a suitable mooring spot at one of the end jetties or the designated passers-by jetty. In such cases, registration should be completed the following morning, or the demurrage fee can be deposited in the mailbox located next to the office entrance. The marina's location at De Biesbosch National Park provides direct access to one of the Netherlands' most distinctive wetland areas, making it an excellent base for nature enthusiasts and recreational boaters. The combination of permanent berth availability, visitor facilities, and proximity to village amenities makes Vissershang marina a practical choice for both long-term mooring and temporary stops during waterway journeys through the region.
