Jachthaven Lockhorst has been operating in Warmond since 1942, founded by grandfather Maarten Versluijs who originally rented out self-made 16-square boats and wooden rowing boats. Today, Marina Lockhorst is a third-generation family business, with Jan-Willem Versluijs taking over from his father in 2005. The marina is strategically located on the Warmonder Leede, offering direct access to the Kagerplassen via the Groote Sloot. Boaters can easily sail to Leiden from this well-connected location. With over 80 years of family tradition, Lockhorst Marina combines historical heritage with modern marina services in the heart of Teylingen.
