Description

Île-de-Bréhat off Paimpol, France, consists of several islets around two small car-free islands joined by a bridge at low tide. It is reachable by a regular 10-minute boat trip from Pointe de l’Arcouest. The island features the old fort with the Verreries de Bréhat, the Birlot tidal mill from the 17th century, and the Grève du Guerzido beach. The north island is wilder with moorland, rocky outcrops, and coastal walks, and has two lighthouses: Paon and Rosédo.
