Description

Marina Funtana operates year-round with 180 wet berths and 40 dry berths. All berths have double moorings, water and electricity supply. Depths range from 2.5m minimum to 4.3m maximum at berths. The marina features a reception desk, air-conditioned sanitary facilities and showers, video surveillance, café-bistro, parking lot, laundry, technical service with crane, market, diver services, charter agency and WLAN internet connection. Fuel supply is available at the neighboring Vrsar marina, 1.5nm south. Town facilities include restaurants, supermarkets, shops, out-patient clinics, post office, ATM, marine engine servicing, cafés, pizza restaurants, entertainment and sports centres and clubs. Navigation: The orientation point is the Funtana settlement with the belfry on a hill above the coastline and a green post (port light) at the head of the breakwater. Navigation warnings: On the north side of Funtana bay are the Janjci shallows, with the northern edge marked by a black post with two red belts and two black balls on top. On the southern entering promontory between the islet of Veli Školj and the coast are the Funtana shallows, marked by a yellow-red post with two black cones with tops turned upwards. In the bay, approximately 200m west from the pier, there are rocks and reefs. The safest approach is from the west side while watching for the Janjci shallows.
