Description

De Schelp anchorage in Naarden, Gooise Meren, Netherlands, is a small man made island with a small harbour offering 13 berths or a 200 meter quay for about 15 boats. Watch mast height and overarching trees on the far left berth. Anchoring on the north part of the inlet is common and offers good protection, with a tiny swimming beach. A second smaller island to the southwest has 16 berths and one quay spot. A small fee is required after 16:00. There are no facilities, but the manager will take trash to the mainland. Together the two islands form a sheltered bay with a swimming beach and woods to cool off.
