Description

Cala Sa Nau is a small white sand beach with low cliffs in the municipality of Felanitx, southeast Mallorca, between Cala d’Or and Portocolom. The beach is about 30 m long and up to 75 m wide, and sits at the mouth of a small freshwater spring. The inlet is about 400 m long, making waters well protected from winds with little wave action, though the beach descends quickly into the sea, requiring care with children. Access is comfortable, including a walkway for people with mobility problems. It is ideal for anchoring; the sand and algae bottom is 3–5 m deep at the buoy line, though the anchorage is somewhat exposed to east-northeast winds.
