Diving
Description
Cala del Corvo, Giglio, Toscana, Italy, is sheltered from northern and eastern winds up to the sirocco. Care is needed in north wind conditions as wind is channeled and strengthens along the valley above the cove. The south-western side of Corvo rock offers a dive site with peaks and spiers rich in Mediterranean fauna, with gorgonians and sponges on the rocks and moray eels and scorpion fish in cracks. Around fifty meters, the scenery includes carpets of gorgonians, orange axinelle, schools of anthias, and lobsters.
