Buoy Bigova in Bigova, Kotor, Montenegro, lies in a sheltered inlet at the SE end of Bay of Traste, about seven miles SE of the Gulf of Kotor entrance. The hamlet has two restaurants, a small shop, holiday apartments and about 30–40 houses. Visiting yachts use mooring buoys installed by one restaurant; shelter is good except in strong N/NW winds which send swell into the inlet. The village quay has depths 2.5–3.5 m with only three bollards; the SE side cannot be used due to fishing boat moorings. There are eight mooring buoys, mostly in 5.0–6.0 m, with those near shore in 3.0–4.0 m, often with mooring strops; if you pick up a buoy you are expected to eat at the Grispolis Restoran. There is room to anchor north of the buoys in 6.0–7.0 m with good holding in sand and weed, and a small jetty NW of the main jetty is useful for dinghy landing.
