Description
Ammoudi bay in Oia, Santorini, South Aegean, Greece, forbids anchoring. The bay and small port sit 200–300 steps below Oia and are lined with seafood restaurants. The port is busy with boat tours all day, including catamarans to the volcano, hot springs and caldera cruises. Five minutes past the last restaurant, a dirt path leads to a swimming spot and a small island with a popular jump ledge. You can reach the bay via a steep staircase from Oia or by taxi; the fixed price between Oia and Ammoudi is 10€. Restaurant staff can call taxis for guests.
