Description

Algar de Albandeira features two caves near the beach. The first is on the left side of the beach, an opening in the cliffs where you can go inside for a few meters and find shade from the hot summer sun. The second is the actual Algar de Albandeira, located further west. To reach it you walk about 10 minutes on the cliff path above the sea, passing Praia de Estaquinha, Praia do Salgueiro, and continuing until a wooden fence around a large hole in the ground marks the cave.
