Description
Alagadi Turtle Beach anchorage in Kyrenia, Cyprus, is a beautiful remote location but should be avoided during turtle nesting season. The beach has two bays: one with the Turtle Paradise restaurant and one more secluded for a quiet day. Bring your own beach accessories as there are no sun beds or umbrellas. Sea turtles hatch eggs here in summer, and the SPOT volunteer organization runs turtle nest excavations by reservation. Natural rock pools heated by the Mediterranean sun are a feature along the scenic coast.
