Description

Agios Ioannis beach on Fournoi, North Aegean, Greece, is an anchorage on sandy bottom near the beach with translucent water and total calm. It lies on the southern side of the island about 6 km southeast of the main town and has a few rooms to let. The area is secluded even in high season and includes nearby beaches such as Kassidi, Vlihada, Vitsilia, and Petrokopio. Each year on August 28 there is a festival at the small chapel of Agios Ioannis.
