Description

Agios Georgios Bay, South Aegean, Symi, Greece is a well-protected cove on the east side of the island between Pedi and Marathounta, with impressive rock walls and 300-meter cliffs. Close to shore the depth is about 3 m with sandy bottom and very good holding, with no swell. The beach is mostly pebbly with crystal-clear blue waters, and natural shade after noon. A small chapel sits on the rock edge; access is only by boat or taxi-boat from Symi harbour, and there are no amenities.
