Aci Marina Rab (Rab) Opčina Rab - Rab - Croatia Marina in Rab, Primorje-Gorski Kotar County

ACI Marina Rab is located in the town harbour of Rab, the island's largest population centre and focus for culture, education and art fostered here for centuries. The marina offers amenities including a restaurant and maintenance and repairs shop. The town is recognisable from the sea by its town walls and four bell towers. Rab Island features wonderful natural diversity with gorgeous beaches, rich history and cultural monuments dating to before the Romans. The island is 35 percent forest and fertile land, making it the second greenest Croatian island behind Mljet. Navigation: Rab harbour can be approached by sailing between Cape Frkanj with red lighthouse (Fl R 2s 5m 4M) and Frkanj Shoal marked with green lighthouse on concrete pediment (Fl G 2s 6m 4M) at position 44°44.9'N 14°45.5'E, or by rounding the shoal on the southeast. Harbour entrance marked by red lighthouse on Cape Sv. Ante (Fl R 1.5s 7m 3M) and green lighthouse on Tunera Islet (Fl G 2s 14m 4M). Sail closer to red lighthouse due to shallows near Tunera. The marina is protected by a breakwater with green lighthouse (Fl G 1.5s 7m 4M) on its head. Speed limit in entrance channel is 3 knots. Western ends of marina piers are lit. Not recommended to moor in town harbour during strong jugo winds.
